MARTON, Wednesday.

The JTire Brigade last night decided to hold tiheir annual social on the 23rd1 August, and the following committee were appointed to carry out all arrangements:— > Messrs. Benseman, Goebel, McDonald, Tinline, and Thompson. At the conclusion of the meeting Captain Gronn,. on behalf of the members, made a presentation to Lieutenant Campbell, in recognition of the assistance he has given in making the members proficient. The recipient was taken very much by surprise, but afterwards feelingly responded. The presentation took the form oi a mounted photo of the members. In testimony of the goodwill that exists in the Brigade, ifc may be mentioned that this is the fourth token that has been presented to members during the past month or two.
