At Waverley last Friday we had, a good yarding. ■ Cattle *old iwell. Springing heifers and young cattle were in good demand. Wo had several lines of sheep. The bulk found ■purchasers at vendors' prices. Wethers and good ewes in lamb ivero keenly sought af jar. At St. Hill Street sale yesterday we had only a small entry, nearly all being sold.
J^attle, at Wavei'ley-r-18 months steers, £5; weaners, 30s to £2 ss; hand-fed heifers, springing, £4 2s 6d to £4 15s: milch cows, £5 10s. At St. Hill Street—2o--month steers, £3 lls; 20-month heifers, £3 4s; weaners (small), 255: milch cows, £4 Is tk> £6.
Sheep, at Waverley—-Ewes in lamb, good sorts, 10s to 12s 6d; J. D. Hughes' Sock, 13s 6d; others, 9s; wethers, lls 6d to 12s lOd. At St. Hill Street—Ewes in lamb, 12s 2d; lamb, 9s lid. Pigs, porkers, 15s to 20s j baconers, 35s to. £2 3s; small pigs, lls 6d to 14s.
