SALVAGE SALE.
To-day at 11 a.m. Mr J. H. Keeping will, commence his' sale of salvage goods from the late fire at E. D. Smith's premisey. This will be an excellent opportunity for heads of families and small storekeepers to obtain splendid goods at very small cost. A special feature of the sale is a aplendid line of underlinen, which is .■absolutely uninjured. Dress goods in large quantities will also be offered. Other lines include macintoshes, skirts, gloves, hats, hosiery, laces, embroideries, d'Oyles, handkerchiefs, feathers, flannel, flannelettes, and other goods too numerous to mention. There is a. vast quantity of goods, and as it has to be disposed of, it will necessitate a verjr rapid sale, and no doubt consequent bargains. There will doubtless be a lot of speculative bidding, as the goods will be oifered in largo lots without,, reference to the number of yards contained in them. A large- quantity of the goods is totally uninjured, whilst* a quaatity that has been slightly damaged by water i$ in reality as good.as new. ~- : . , : : .
