BOWLING
Tho weather .last week was not favourable for bowling, and consequently but little progress has been made with the tournaments.
In the Pairs Tournament Fountain rvan bis match against Rodwell by 21 points to 13. Fountain will now meet McCarthy, and tho -winnerwill have to meet Bonnie in tho final. There would appear to have been some mistak<? in allowing; Bennie to have two .consecutive byes. OnD of the' full-rink tournament games was played on Saturday. McFarlane senr., beat-tig Armstrong by 2,2 points to 14.
. On Tuesday..two;- or perhaps three, rinks from tho Wanganui Club will leave for Now Plymouth rto play an intor-club match. They-will a'lso-play «t Hawora. and WaverIsy, md expect to> return on Thursday. Players ■desiring to take part in these matches are requested to notify the secretary (Mr Eodwell) at once.
