It is proposed that if there is no Easter encampment the Wellington Volunteers' nb.aU have field work during the April holidays. This will probably consist of a march through the Wairarapa to Masterton.

In tho Divorce Court the decision was reserved in the case of Frances Jane Mitchell, j^etitioner, 'for a. (divorce from William Mitchell, cabinetmaker, on the ground of desertion.
The directors of the Manawatu Railway Company will recommend a dividend of «ix per;cent. ■
