JOHNSONVILLE, March 5!
Messrs Freeman R. Jackson and Co., in conjunction with Messrs Abraham and Williams, report on their Johnsonville sale as follows;—
Fat cattle, equal to requirements, made their values. With a few exceptions, the qua/lity was very indifferent, especiaJly the cows. Fat bullocks £7 10s to £8 10s> stores and light weight £5 5s to £7, fat iows £4 to £4 12s 6d. . ''
Sheep were in larger >uj>ply. Heavy wethers were easier, other sorts without alteration. Prime wethers 15s 6d to 16* 6d, extra 17s, good wethers 14s lOd, lighter 14s, prime ewes 13s lid, extra 15b, fat ewes 12s to 13s 3d, lambs 8s 3d to 10s.
