MR W. G. BASSETT TO BE

REQUISITIONED

We understand that a requisition asking Mr W. G. Bassett to allow himself to be nominated for the Mayoralty is in course of circulation. We feel sure that it will be extensively signed by representatives of all classes of the community. We remind those interested that under the existing Jaw the municipal roll includes not only ratepayers, but householder* and lodgers, and in the case of married people both husband and wife aye entitled to enrolment. Forms of claim may be obtained at the Borough Council Chambers, ■and all who have not enrolled should do so at once, as the roll closes at 4 p.m. on Monday next.
