The Standard's Aloscow correspondent states that the Russians disarmed five thousand Chinese at Blogoveschensk, led "them in small batches to the River Amur, and ordered them to cross to the Chinese side. There were, no boats, and the river was rapid and a mile wide. At the least sign of hesitation men, women and child,? dren were, stabbed and shot, and their bodies flung into the stream. Similar occurrences are reported elsewhere. It is believed altogether that 12,000 of them have been killed.
