"Henry Mabin, of Wellington, on a. charge of publishing a declinatory and libellous", letter concerning seveual well-known Christchurch business people. The alleged defamation is contained in a letter to Pitcaithlx, Wnllis and Co., shippin" agents, Christchurch, in connection with the adjustment of a general average on the cargo of a vessel, which accused is said to have written.
