— . — «. As we anticipated, there wag a brisk demand for seats, when the byjf plan for th< coming visit of this clever combination was opened yesterday. This was to be expected, as when to the popularity of "The Pollards" is added the revival of such popular works as "Maritana," "Paul Jones" and "La Mascotte," the success of the season is assured. When this company leaves New Zealand on December 31st next a void will be left in matters theatrical that will be vety hard to fill.
