NEW PLYMOUTH HARBOUR

(Per Press Association.) ■ NEW PLYMOUTH, November 21. At the Harbour Board meeting to-day, Mr F. W. Marchant, engineer, reported that the breakwater was in a sound condition. The depths of water in the sheltered area show n gratifying increase over those' existing last year. Over a cousidenibh area there is a depth of 10 to 12 feet at low wafer, where formerly sand stood 3 feet above low water mark. Gradull continual improvement may be regarded as a dead certainty.
