Received November 1, 9.15 a.m. DURBAN, October 31. General White reports that the capitulated regiments were unblameable. Their positions were .selected by himself, and proved untenable. Fnrty-two officers and 1500 men, including the Ist (not the 2nd) Battalion of the Irish Fusiliers, capitulated.
