ILLEGALLY IMPORTING OPIUM.

(Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, February 23. Ke - Lett was charged at Port Chalmers to-day with importing and bringing into the colony 401bs. of opium, valued at £140, and with being kiiowimrly concerned in carrying, removing, or dealing with four cases of opium. The Collector of Customs sued for £390. The case was adjourned till Monday, bail being allowed.
