In the Assembly the. PoslßiasJer-bener.il eimounced that the Cabinet hid decided that the proposal to keep the Post and Telegraph Offices open on Sundays, wouW not ho put in operation. Mr. Carruthers promised the Government would take steps to relievo distressed selectors The Assembly is debating the Addressin -Reply. Hughes accused' Beid of betraying Democratic principles in the Feder.il Constitution. Hobnail said that if the Government did not take steps to provide relief for settlers and restore the Abandoned Shipping Amendment Act this session, the Labour party would take steps to compel it.
