— • — JOHNSONVILLE STQCK REPORT. (By Telegraph.) SrEciAi, to Chronicits. JOHNSONVILLE, February gl. Messrs Freeman R. Jackson and Co, in conjunction with Messrs Abraham and Williams report as to their Johnsonville stock sale. The 'cattle entered today were of inferior quality, for the most part some being little hetter'than stores. ' The few pens of decent bnllocks entered sold readily enongh at last week's values. A large nnmber of cows' came in, mostly of indifferent quality. These sold irregularly, prime sorts making 12s, others lis to 12s t|ie lOOlbs. Sheep, in short snppiy, sold freely. No good lambs were yarded. We quote : — ■ Cattle— Prime bullocks, £5 12s '6d to £6 ss ; others, £3 12s 6d to £5 7s ; prime cows, JB3 10s to £4 10s ; others, £2 15s to £5 7s 6d. Sheep— Heavy ewes, 8s 4d to 10s Id; others, 6a <fl to 7s 4d; stores, 3s to 5s ; woolly lambs, 6s to 6s 7d ; shorn, 6s ld ; stores, 3s 6d.
