FIRE IN AUCKLAND.
(Per Press Association.) Auckland, May 8. A eir-ioomed houee in Gundry btreet Newtm, occupied ■ and owned by B Cleland, turf commission agent, was burnt down tbis fcrmoon, while Mn Cleland was boiling beeswax and turpantine in tha kitchen. The building was insured for £300 and the (furniture foi £150 in the North Girman Office.
