At a meeting of the representatives of the- building trade to-nigbt all the branches were represented except the plasterers. It wag deoided to urge a reduction of the usual weekly hours so that work should cease at noon on Saturday instead of 12.45 as at present. A deputation was appointed to bring the matter before the Employers' Association, and another to wait on the plasterers asking tbeir o-operatiou,
