KARIOI RACES.
Tbote was a large attendance at the above races, which were hold on B'riday last. The stewards and secretary of the dab carried out their dutios admirably. The "tote" was conspicuous by its absenco. Mr " Pat " Seally'a treble win was very pipular. Below we givb the results of the different events : — Hurdles, 2 miles, Heremai 1 Bloonißvale .- 2 Cadet 8 Raupo was jtinmed off at the third hurdle. Betting— 'i to 1 Heremai and Raup7, Maiden Plate, KaupD (Histed) 1 Kiora 2 Eleven started'. Won by a length. Maobi Race. Opiv* 1 Tini Wailara 2 Fourteen started. Betting- 1 to 1 Opua. Kab:oi Cup. Baupo , 1 Ssa Foam , 2 Horomai 3 Saven Etnrt9d. Betting— 6 to 4on Baupo. Flying. Bsra 1 Bloomsvale ... ... ... ... 2 Twelve started. Kiora won, but a protest J'w running at Oliingaitt was upheld. Kaimanawa Handicap. Ikuno (Histed) , 1 Heremai a E£fot ... 3 Six otaitad. Betting —6 to lon Eaupo. Consolation. | Sea Foam (Wright) 1 1 Tini Waitari 2 J Great Britain 3 . — —
