THE WARD FARMERS' ASSOCIATION.
— « — (Per Pbess Association.) Invercahqill, August 9. The profits of. 'the Ward Farmers' Association for the year ended June 30th amount to £6,500. It is proposed to pay a 7 per cant, dividend, 3 per cent, bonus on gocd3 purchased, 10 per cent, refund on commissions charged, and 3 per cent, bonus on the salaries of the staff. It ie proposed to transfer .£2OOD to the reserve fund, and t) reduce the goodwill account. The directors report the year a trying one for farmers, but the coming year is more hopeful.
