Notice is hert by piven that the Waitotara t'ounty Ccui'ctl proposes, under the provisions of " The Local Bodies Tjoans Act, 1886," and " Tha Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886," to raise a Loan of iMO (six hundred poundt) for the construction of three and a half miles at the Rant.itatau Eabt road It is also proposed l hit the cost of raising the a tid Loan shall be paid out of tho Loan, bnt not the interest, during the construction of the road. For the'purpese of providing interest and sinking fund undor "lhe Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1888," on the said Loan, it ia proposed to constitu'e a Special Rating District of patt of Blocks 111., IV., VI., VII , VIII., Rangitatau, containing 9017 acres, of a rateable vako of £15,750 ; and it ia proposed by tbe said Council to make and levy, by Special Order, a Special Rate of one halfpenny in the pound in and over the said Special Rating District, and to pledge such Special Rate as security for the said Loan cf .£OOO, and that such rate shall he an annually recurring rate, and shall be payable at the Council Office, Wanganui, on the first day of October in eac^ and every year until the Loan in respect of which such rate was made is paid off.
