Tho twenty-first annual genoral meeting of New Zealand shareholders of ilia New Zealand Shipping Company wus held to-day- Mr H. P. Murray Aynsley (chairman of directors) pie3ided, and about a dozen directors and shareholders were present. The annuil report of tho London Board stated that tho audited account) for the year ending .Tune 30th slnwnd, after providing for depreciation, insurance, London and colony charges, a bslonce of £22,705 9s 4d, out of which it was proposed to pay a dividend of 4 per cent, free of the income tax,and to carryforward £4324 6s 2d. Mr Murdoch Mclvor had joined tin London Board, and Mr John j Beaumont (lato of Christchurch) had been appointe-1 New Zaaland representative of tho Board in place of Mr Thomas Euesell, who had retired.
