The Executive Committee proceeded to Cliye and Mennoo to-day, and got au estimate of the individual losses of settlers. A very heavy Blip fell in tho Wanstoad Gorge, and will block the roaO. for a fortnight, and mails will be packed from Wtupukuraii road to Taupo, which is not damaged. The tourists suffer no inconvenience. The coaches now take through passengers from Hastings to Waipukurau, connecting there with the Wellington train, Passenger traflic to Waipawa will not be resumed before Monday.
