Morning, 1.64. Evening, 2.lS.__ Tho schooner Glencairn, Captain Palle- ' sen, from Timaru, with a cargo of flour foe Messrs J. H Cock and Co , arrived m port yesterday afternoon. TheGlancairn loft Timaru on the 2nd instant, and had head winds to contend with all the way up. Immediatoly after starling she encountered very heavy seas, which swept the deck, carried away the boat, and stnpt hor ot her canvas. She arrived off the bar atl o'clock yesterday, and was towed in at once by the steadier Waitara. The M-inawatu sailed for Westport Jaso Tho chafes Edward sailed for "Wellington Nolson, and Wast Coast ports last night. , The lOieti arrived at Westport yesterday from this port. K The Stormbird was to leavo Willmgt.r last night for this port, and may bo expected this morning She is advertised to leavo for Wellington again on Wednesda The t fon™gi sailed from Plymouth on on Saturday, 14th inst, for Wellington and Lyttelton, with 30 saloon, 41 second saloon, and 130 third-class and intermediate passengers. '
