The Canterbury sTeomanry Cavalry brought its annual week's training to a close by military sports yesterday after-r noon. There were capital entries for the various events, ana the gathering wa3 very successful, On the inspection of the troop by Colonel Fox, he complimented the men on the smartness of their turn out and their appearance, and also for the manner in which they had taken up the drill recommended by him last year.
