A meeting of tho Now Zealand Political Reform Association decided to ask tho Minister for Lands for a definite reply whether it is the intention of the Government to suhmit the Tarua Land Bill to the Govornor for confirmation. Wellington, Octobor 10. Tho Govornmont find thnt country rolls aro tilling slowly, and have decided not to hurry on tho elections, in order to give ample timo for women 'to register. Tho Liberal Association will hold a special meeting to nominate three candidates- The proposal to ask Sir Robert Stout and Mr. Seddou. and to nominate a third man to run on the same ticket as themselves was rejected, and also a proposal to send a deputation to tho Premier asking him to stand.
