All entries can be made on the Club's, printed forms of entry, and must be sent to the Secratary of the Wauganui Jockey Club, Wanganui, from whom entry forms can be obtained. Entries by tolegram must be confirmed in writing at the earliest possible opportunity. All horses must be riddon iu colours. Any Jockey riding, exbopt in the colour entered, will bo fined 2sovs. When two or moro horses start, the property of the same owner, distinguishing colours must be declared on entry day, and worn. Any person neglecting this rule to bo fined 2 sovs. No owner will be permitted to use the registered colours of another owner without special permission. Persons dssirous of being registered as gentleman riders must send their names to the Secratary, on or before 19th Feb. j the names will thon go before the Committee for ballot. Penalties must be calculated in accordance with tho Rules of Racing, In estimating penalties, all races othor than handicaps shall beconsideredweight-for-age races. Owners are responsible for penalties and allowances. In all cases where penalties have to be carried for winning, it sball be the duty of the owner, trainer, or jockey, to notify the same to the Secretary, when possible, the evening before the race, or in any case half an hour prior to the start.
