THE MISSING FISHER MEN.
THEIR BOAT FOUND -ON THE WAITOAEHU BEACH. vk .
News waß received' in town on Sunday afternoon that the boat in which the^ fishermen Gunn and Busbridge were out fishing had been, found on the Wangaehu boach, about 600 yards to' the south the river. . The boat, we are informed, irbm her appearance had apparently capsized in the breakers. Search was made along the south beach, for about a mile, but no traces of the bodies were found. The beach to the northward of the river has hot yet been searched. ■ ;
It was reported in town yesterday that the missing fishermen had reached the shore in safety, though very much, exhausted; but on 'inquiry- of the police last night we learnt that they had no information on the subject.
