In reference to the above, we would remind Householders that the "Wellington Brand" line in Boots, Shoes, and Slippers can be procured from any Bootmaker and principal dealers in the district, and those who have not given .the Goods a trial will do well to do so, and thereby encourage the employment of labour in the colony and Local Industries in general, and adequately benefit themselves by keeping money -within the colo?v Storekeepers, Bootmakers, and Warehousemen may rely on a speedy and satisfactory issue of any favours entrusted for our execution, and would ask them to adress all correspondence to W. " J. S TipLE3 - MANUFACTURERS, WOOL, FLAX, BUTTER, AND OTHER PRODUCE. WE are proparod, as usual, to TAKE CHARGEof PRODUCE entrusted to us this Season FOE SALE in ANY MARKET that may seem to be Best for Shippers, and we have tho most reliable information for tho guidance of ourfriends. WOOL. We consider that LONDON will undoubtedly this year bo the Bost Market for' the staple. A large quantity was bought laßt year in tho Colonies for shipment to London, and our direct information is that a very serious loss was made on the purchases. The experiment is unlikely to be repeated this year, except at such a margin as will make it safe for the buyers. Under those circumstances we consider growers here will do well to secure the margin for themselves, by 'sending the Wool to London on their own account, and the reports we have of the probabilities of the market there this season lead us to emphasiso this advice. We are willing to advance liberally, and we charge no interest on the advance nor exchange between here and London. BUTTER. The returns last year were most unfor- \ tunafco. We believe this was chiefly due to the want of space in the Direct Steamers, and consequently to the Butter being injured while awaiting shipment. This year there will be plenty of space, and we are making arrangements to avoid delays anywhere. So that if tho Butter is really prime whon sent from the dairy, payable results should be obtained. No inferior butter, ghould be sent with any hope of getting a decent price. FLAX. It is wise to sond only thebest quality of this, aud ojily those should send even that quality who are so situated as to be able to produce the article at the minimum cost. Both in America and in London low prices are ruling at present. We are keopra g ourselves fully advised by Cable and Lotter, and we will advance according to circumstances. PROMPT SETTLEMENT on RECEIPT OF ACCOUNT SALES. WE CHARGE NO COMMISSION, INTEREST, OR EXCHANGE HERE ON ADVANCES. SCLANDERS AND CO., WANGANUI. CHRISTMAS ! /CHRISTMAS !
