FIGHTING IN EGYPT.

In the recent engagement between' the Egyptian troops and the dervishes at Tokar, the issue of the fight.was in considerable doubt for a few minutes. A desperate charge by the dervishes nearly out-flanked the Egyptians, who saved themselves by successfully occupying the ruined houses at Tokar before the dervishes could do so.
