The Secretary of the New Zealand Bowing Association has received a reply fronvthe'jNew, South, WaleaJ Bowing Absociatiori to the effect that no Australian crews will take part in the forthcoming champion regatta at Wanganui. , .In acknowleging the invitation to be present, the New South Wales "Association tenders its thanks for the attractions offered by New Zealanders, and intimates that next year it may probably meet their wishes. It also hopes that the coming regatta, may be an ] ; unqualified success. Witiriegard to the visit of a New - Zealand crew - to - Australia, the Association writes : — " With your strong list of clubs and mem- . bers, we donbt 'not that when yon essay the intercolonial eight-oar contest, you will make a sweep of our boards entirely, though we hail with delight the proii- a .mity of such a venture on yourpart, -which will add undoubted zest to the race."
