APLES ' MANUFACTURERS, ■ ' WOOL, FLAX, BUTTER, AND OTHER PRODUCE. WE are prepared, as usual, to TAKE CHARGE of PKODUOE entrusted to us this Season FOR SALE in ANY MARKET' that may seem to bo Best for Shippers, and wo have the most reliable information for the guidance of our friends. WOOL. We consider that LONDON will undoubtedly this year be the Best Market for the staple. A largo quantity was bought last year in the Colonies for shipment to London, and our direct information is that a very serious loss was made on the purchases. The experiment is unlikely to be repeated this year, except at such a margin as will make it safe tor the buyers. Under those circumstances we consider growers hero will do well to secure the margin for themselves, by sending the Wool to London on their own account, and tbß reports we have of the probabilities of the market there this season lead us to emphasise this advice. We are willing to advance liberally, and we charge no interest on the advance nor exchange between here and London. BUTTER. The returns last year were most unfortunate. We believo this was chiefly due to tho want of space in tho Direct Steamers, and consequently to the Butter being injured while awaiting shipment. This year there will be plenty of apace, and we are making arrangements to avoid delays anywhere. So that if the Butter is really prime when sent from the dairy, payable results should be obtained. W o inferior butter should be sent with any hope of getting a decent price. FLAX. It is wise to send only the best quality of this, and only thoae should send even that quality who are so situated as to be able to produce the article at the minimum cost. Both in America and in London low pricea are ruling at present. We are keeping'wjr-' selves fully advised by Cable and Letter, and we will advance according to circumstances.
