When two or more horses start, the property of the one "owner, a distinguishing colour must be worn. It will be observed that after paying claims, Surrenders, &c, and Expenses, there is now in hand 84 per cent, of tho total premiums received on the current Policies, and the Association is ablo to declare as profit nearly 14i per cent, of the total premiums received during tho Fourth Quinquennium — results which ' speak well for its resources and profitproducing power. — (Extract from the Actuary's Eeporb on tho Fourth Quinquennial Investigation.) The next distribution of profits takes place December 31st, 1891, and all Policies taken out now will participate pro rata.
