THE GRAND NATIONAL MEETING.

[Per' United Pbesb Association/] Christchuboh. July 21. The Grand National meeting is not exciting the usual interest. Ahua is doing good work, and ia 1 a strong favourite for the Steeplechase. Ixion and Erin-go-Bragh did a capital gallop this morning, and are most fancied for the Grand National Hurdles. Leonardo and Darnley look stale; the former pulled jap lame and the latter persistently refused to jump the schooling 1 fence to-day. Squib, Daddy-Longlegs, and Little Arthur are reported well, but have not yet arrived. Sir Maurice made a favourable impression.
