THE SEA SERPENT AGAIN.

It appears that the great sea Berpent is not dead yet. He is in fact reported to be disporting himself in Australian waters, and to have been clearly seen from the decks of one of the intercolonial steamers. Some of tho passengers on board the s.s . Victorian, which arrived from Sydney recently, solemnly aver that when the vessel had passed Gobc Island a monster of the deep was observed disporting itself in the water astern of the steamer, and though the steamer was not near enough to be accurately described, thero.was no doubt about its general characteristics. It appeared to be about 80ft long and sft in girth, boing black or nearly black in colour. Captain Lockyer, who was on deck at the time, also saw the monster, and corroborates the statements made by the passengers. — Age. •
