Sheep Dip•"WEN'S PATENT NEW ZEALAND SHEEP DIP. We aro prepared to supply tho above DIP, which will be found, as now prepared, tho Cheapest and most Effective in tho Colony. We attach some of tho many Testimonials which Mr Owen has recoived from sheep farmers, aud we can thoroughly recommend it to our numerous frionds. TESTIMONIALS. Wiriton, May 22nd, 1889. Mb W. T. Owbn. Dear Sir,— l have dippod over 3000 sheep this- year in your Patent Sheep Dip, and am so well pleased with it that I should not think of using any other. Wo examined a number the other day aftor they were dipped, and found tho •ticks all dead on the outside of the wool ; we also examined sonio that hud been dippod six weeks, and found them free from ticks, and the wool bright and soft. One unshorn lamb, badly infested with both lico and ticks, I dipped in what was loft ovor from last yeai-, and had been exposed in the sun ever since. Two month s after he had no sign of either ticks or lico, and tho wool in as good condition as anyono could wish for the two. months ho was running with tindipped sheep.— - Yours truly, W. Wilson. Elslea (Patea), May 25, 1889. To Mb W. T. Owen, Wanganui. Dear Sir, — I have to congratulate you on tho discovory of your very efficient Sheep Dip. I consider it to be absolutely destructive of insect life when used as directed. As regards the wool, it is the only Dip I have used that leaves tho wool soft and lustrous throughout without injuring the wool that is on the sheep at the time dipping. For a lung worm specific I have not had an opportunity of trying it, as my hoggets are not affected to any noticeable extent, though my. neighbour, Mr J. Ros3, of Oteuto, Patea, last year informed me that it had a most beneficial effect on his hoggets, which wero badly affected last year. If by publishing this testimonial it will increaso the use of your Dip, do so by all means. — I am, dear sir, yours truly, W. Wilson. Nowtonlees Farm, May 30, 1889. i To Mb W. T. Owen, Makirikiri, Wanganui. Dear Sir, — We were induced to give your Patent Dip a trial this past season, with tho result that we hiavo now very much pleasure in adding our testimony in its favour as a cheap and effective Dip. Wo examined the sheep twenty-four hours after dipping, and found all ticks dead; and again fourteen days after, with the result that not one live tick coiild be found. We also noticed that after dipping both the sheep and wool seemed to have been greatly benofited. After the experience of this season we certainly would have no hesitancy in using it again; for we are confident that if the instructions as given with each tin are attended to, good results will follow. — We aro, yours truly, E. & J. Mobgan. Marangai, 10th Juno, 1889. Mj' Dear Owen, — According to promise I now 'write you relativo to your Sheep Dip, As you know, I havo used it for two seasons, and it has given me complete satisfaction. I find it easier to mix than any other dip, and it thoroughly destroys all ticks and lice. I think that it impi-ovcs the wool, leaves no stain, and does not injure tho staple in tho slightest degree. — I remain, yours faithfully, Jno. Cajieeon. Pouroro, Hawko's Bay, Doc. 5, 1890. Me W. T. Owen, Makirikiri, Wanganui. Dear Sir, — The Dip you supplied mo with last year has been all I could desiro. Naibn. Waitatapia; Bulls, Feb 15, 1890. W. T. Owen, Esq, Dear Sir, — I havo used your Dip for tho last two seasons now, dipping about 8000 sheep a year.
