BTJCKLAND AND SON'S STOCK ,' ; REPORT. [Per United Press Association.] Auckland, May 17. At Reniuera on Thursday, dairy cattlo, freshly calved or near calving, were in demand at full values. Store cattle were also in bettor inquiry. Fat cattle were in full number; those' sliipborno and heavy cattle were lowor in price Is the lOOlbs, but medium and light weights kept thoir late values. 'Sheep were also Stores woro in good request at full values, and, fat sheep atthobaginning of the sale were of batter worth, •but fell as the sale, proceeded to last week's prices. Young fatted calves were at extreme prices, and calves of all kinds sold well. The past week has beon unusually quiet, transactions in various linos of grain being small .and the market dull, Prices generally have, however, being well sustained, growers showing an inclination to hold rather than lower current values. We quote - Oats : 2s 8d to 2s 9d for good milling and feed samples j ordinary feod, 2s Od to 2s Bd. Wheat : Large consignments aro still being forwarded to the Sydney markets, which will havo a tendency to harden quotations. Good milling, 3s 9d to 4a j ohickwheat, 3s Gd. Baiiley : Largo stooks aro boing hold, but at present there is no demand, Good milling may bo quoted at 3s Gd to 3s 9d j feed, 2s 9d to 3s. Potatoes: Supplies coming forward, but prices ruling olsewhere leave us margin for shippers. Quotations remain as before, £3 5s to .£3 10s for prime table sorts, inferior being 10s lower. Inquiries for early seed still continue.
