The -annual installation meeting' of the Ruapeha Lodge, No. 2138, E-C, Marton, 'took plaoe in the Foresters' Hall on Thursday night. There was a good attendance of members, and amongst- the visitors present were Bro Dr Macintiro, W.M. of the. United Manawatu, Lodge, and P.M.'bMcLean and King from Balls Lodge. Bro M. Cottle, P.M. of Tongariro Lodge, D.G. Steward, who was specially delegated to represent the, District .Grand lodge, was received with' the neual honours,. The re» tiring W.M,, Bro Esam, acted as installing master,* and was ably assisted by P.M.'s K;ing and Roberts. P.M. Bro Arkwright, the WiM: '• eleot, was then presented and installed 'into 'the chair in due form, and' greeted with the appropriate honours, 'by thebrethren in the various degrees^' The' niwly-installeil W.M., Bro' Arkwright, then appointed and invested his officers, giving the -usual addresses td eaoh in' a most impressive manner) After the Lodge w'asoloaed the. brethren' sat down to on excellent banquet, and a most enjoyable evening was, spent by those present.'
