June 28. The Master of the Mint deprecates the proposal that the colony should produce its own silver coinage, on the ground that tho cost would defeat the object of the proposal. Arrived — Mararoa from the Bluff. The Chinese residents are protesting against the decision of the Conference recently held in Sydney.
