"SPIELERS" IN TROUBLE IN AUCKLAND.
KER, UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION. Auckland, December 30 The bearing of the oases against, eight "spielers," arrested at SUlersiie'', Racecourse on Monday, was concluded at the Police Court to-day. The E.M. imposed the following sentences; — John Grapple/John Hart, Frederick Holmes, Charles Shearman, and Allan Cockburn were esch fined £30 or to undergo two months' iiapnjonment ; Albsrl Ghatband, £50, or three months' imprisonment. Similar charges against MoCanally and Smith were dismissed. .
