A message was received from the House stating that the House agreed with the Council's amendments in the Wellington Harbour Board Leasing Bill. The Salmon and Trout Bill was received from the House, and read a first time. The Destitute Persons Amendment Bill was further considered in Committee, amendments agreed to, progress reported, and leave given to sit again. The Native Land Administration Bill was committed, a number of amend-' ments agreed to, and progress reported. The Native Land Court Bill was further considered, and progress reported. The Council adjourned at the dinner hour.
