' In givingjudgment iv the case against Eekersley.and Macfarlane, brewers, of Kaiapoi, particulars of which were given a few days ago, the Besident Magistrate said he considered that a brewer. was authorised to sell at stores distinct. from his brewery, and not even in the same, district, sojlong as such stores were under the control of the brewer, and not agencies. The case waa therefore dismissed.
