ROYAL AUSTRALIAN CIRCUS.

There was a very good attendance at the circus on the reclaimed land last evening, when a very creditable performance was gone through, to theentire appreciation of those present. The aorobatic feats of the performers generally elicited considerable applause, while the astonishing nimbleness of Signor Bartolo caused something of an ovation. The double trapeze performance was an exceedingly creditable exhibition of strength, suppleness, and skill. Max Binkle makes an excellent clown, and is irresistibly funny, both in speech, and action; while as Dick Turpin he showed himself equal to quiteanother style of acting. The excellent horsemanship of "Jack Cousens," " Australia's Pride," v.-on well-merited encomiums from all parts of the house. The trick-pony Sultan was scarcely ud to the mark last evening, though on the whole his performance was approved of. The performance concluded with " Diey:Turpin's ride to York," in which mviy members of the triupe proved themselves excellent in low comedy aefcin", the beadle and his son Sammy being wonderfully realistic in all respects. Dick Turpin's horse Black Bess, in the closing scene, gave an admirable illustration of the extent to which dumb animals are susceptible of training. An entire change of programme is an-noun-ced for to-night, whioh is to be the last night hut one.
