I A meeting of the Committee of this OlubVps held at the Victoria Hotel last evening', at which there were presentUe^vt r Thatcher (in the chair), Betts, riv-v'-nnes, Saunders, Bradley, Cross, Whiicnmbe, Watt, and Drs Connolly mid Favle, After a lengthy discussion, t was resolved, on the motion of Dr Connolly, seconded by Mr Saunders, That the programme of the race meetin g) proposed to oe held on the 6th [August be abandoned, through the Iconimittce being unable to come to any Heeision in reference to the penalty for Professional riders-The Secretary retorted that the receipts of the Club had fL n £99 15s, and the expenses slightly Ever £100.— It was resolved, That the Lt meet of the season be held on the |3th August.— lt was decided to call a lull meeting for next Saturday evening |o arrange a fresh programme for the Jace meeting.
