March. 1. I The Customs revenue for the month * of February showed a large increase ■ compared with the corresponding period > last year. The revenue for the month r just ended was £18,390 8s 9d, and for i February, 1880, £11,062 18s Id. 3 During the month of February 87 i births and 47 deaths were registered in Wellington district, and 17 certificates ■ of marriage were issued. December contains a eulogistic article , on Sir Hercules Eobinson, and says he > is the best Governor under the British " Crown. > The conference of the Harbour Board ; and City Council took place yesterday, relative to the Queen's Wharf.
