This Company is firmed to complete the communication by rail from Wellington to Manawatu and New Plyuiuuth. I is proposed to raise at least £50,000 of ihe capital within the colony, payable as follows :— 2s 6d per share on application, 2s (3d per share on allotment, and the residue by calls not exceeding five shillings per share at intervals of not less than three months. The Company propose to acquire the Native Lands through which the line will pass, and will apply to Parliament to obtain the necessary powers to carry the undertaking. The concessions which the Government have made, and other particulars, are fully sei forth in the prospectus, which can be obtained from the Secretary, or at any of the branches of the Bank of New Zealand throughout the colony, and to which is annexed a form of application for shares.
