"Programme. 1. — Wanganui Handicap Steeplechase of 175 soys; second howe to receive 25 soys out of the stakes, third horse to save hia stakes. Over the Wanganui Steeplechase Course. Distance, about 3 miles. Nomination, 2sovs ; acceptance, 5 soys. To start 3t 12 o'clock. 2. — Maiden Steeplechase of 75 soys; second horse to save liis stakes. Over the aame course as the Handicap. Entrance fee, 3 soys. Weight for age. as specified iii the N.Z.N.S.O. rules, A maiden horse is one that has never won a steeplechase of the value of 20 soys or more. The winner of the Handicap to carry a penalty of 71bs. To start at 2 o'clock. 3.— The Grand Stand Stebplchase of 50 soys. Second horse to save hi 3 afcakes% Over the Wanganui Steejjlechase Course. Distance about 3 miles. Entrance fee, 3 soys. Weight for aga as specified in the N.Z.N.S.C. rnles. Open to all horses. To start at 3 o'clock. 4.— Consolation Handicap Steeplechase of 30 soys; second horse to save his stakes. Distance about 1|- miles, over such course as the Committee may appoint.
