Feb 17. OUT OF SEASON. George McDonald, <t half-caste, van charged at the R.M. Court today by the Secretary of the Acclimatisation Society, with killing wild dudes out of season. It was proved he had dead ducks in h s possession on the 12th inst. Defend an pleaded guilty. The Bench (S. J>>h>igon and f . Redwood) fiued defendant 5s and 7s costs, with a caution not to offend again, otherwise he would suffer a heavier penally. The fine was paid.
