Produce Stakes of £50 soys — Entrance £3 ; distance one mile and a half ; open to all horses that have not run for an advertised race at date of entry ; the winner of any advertised race after entrance to carry a penalty of 51 bs, and of two such races, a penalty of 71 bs ; weight for age. Hack Kace of £10— Entrance £l ; dintance, once round the course ; open to all horses th.it have never run for an advertised race, hack races exoeptud ; post entry. Flying Stakes of £30 — Entrance £2 ; three quarters of a mile ; catch weights Railway Handicap of 100 soys— 2nd horse to receive 20 soys out of the stakes, 3rd horse to save his 3 takes; distance If miles ; nominations 2 boys ; acceptance 3 soys. Stewards' Cup, value 25 soys, with 25 sovß added — Entrance 3 suvs ; distauce I 5 miles ; weight for age. SECOND DAY. Handicap Hurdle Race of £50 soys — Nominations of 2 soys to the fund ; acceptance 3 soys, to go to the stakes ; distauce 2 miles, over_B jumps, 3ft 9iu high. Weights to be declared at 1 o'clock on the morning of the first day's racing. Acceptances to be made by 10 a.m. on the morning of the race. Hack Hurdle Race of 10 soys — En . trance 1 soy ; ckatauce once round the course ; weight not less than 9st. Maiden Plate of 50 soys— Open to all horses that have not won an advertised race of the value of 20 soys prior to date of entry ; the winner of any such race after entry to carry a penalty of 51 bs, or of two or more such races 71 bs ; distance lj miles ; weight for age, entrance 3 soys. Marton - Rangitikei Handicap of 250 soys — 2nd horse to receive 40 soys ; 3rd horse 10 soys from the stakes ; distance 2| miles ; nominations 3 soys ; acceptance 6 soys. Shorts 25 soys — Entrance 5 soys j distance If miles ; catch weights. Consolation Stakes of 25 soya— Handicap for all beaten horses ; distance j once round the course ; post entry, 1 soy. Nominations for the Railway Handicap and Marton-Rangitikei Handicap to be lodged with the Secretary at Bulls by 7 p.m. on Saturday, 16th November, 1878. Weights to be published in the Rangitikei Advocate on Dec 2nd. Acceptances, General Entries, and Nominations for the Handicap Hurdle Race to be made by 7 p.m. on Dec. 14th, 1878. Marton-Rangitikei St Ledger, January 1881, of 100 soys, added to a sweepstake of 10 soys each, for three-year-olds— colts, Bst lOlbs ; fillies and geldings Bst Ylbs ; 2 soys on nomination ; 3 soys on general entry day for January meeting, 1881, and 5 soys at the post ;>1 mile 6 furlongs 132 yards. Nominations to be uiade to the Secretariat Bulls by 7 p.m. on the 11th January, 1879. All entries and acceptances must be addressed to the Secretary, Bulls, and must contain entrance fees, description and a<?e of horse, and colour of rider. Three horses to be entered or no race, and in the event of less than three starting, only half the stakes will be given. Qualification fee £1. The decision of the Stewards to be final.
