Rules : 1. The Wanganui Jockey Club rulei will be strictly adhered to. 2. All disputes to be settled by th< Stewards, whose dicision shall be final 3. Persons lodging a protest wil place £1 in the hands ofthe Secretarj on making the tame, which money wil be forfeited if such protest be deemec by the Stewards frivolous or unjust ! 4- All persons intending to withdra? horses must give notice to that effect to the Secretary, at least fifteen mm. utes before the hour of starting. 5. Any jockey riding except in the colour entered will be fined £3. 6. Nominations and acceptanceE will not be received after the time stated, under any pretence whatever. 7. Five per cent will be deducted from the gross [amount of all monies paid, in accordance with the programme, for expenses. 8. All entries should be made on the Club's priuted forms, which can be obtaiued from the Secretary, or at his office, Wanganui.
