WAIROA.
[Prom our own Correspondent.] March 9. The firing for district prizes came off, as arranged, on Tuesday, the 9th inst , wheu some good shooting was made by the Light Hor.-e. Tho dav was fa yo livable for shooting although, the sun shone rather fiercely at times. The Rifles also succeeded m putting together a cieditable score, and fully anticipate carrying off some of the district prizes.
